Quick Sets

A Quick Set is a tool that automatically applies certain settings to your jobs. Using Quick Sets is similar to using a cookie cutter. Cookie cutters create cookies with particular shapes in an efficient manner. Just as it would take a very long time to cut out perfect star patterns for each cookie using only a table knife, it would also take a very long time to set all your job settings or options for each image manually. More importantly, you can use different Quick Sets to apply different settings or options to different jobs much the same way you could use different cookie cutters to create different cookie shapes.

Once you create and apply Quick Sets to your jobs, each job will have the correct settings from the beginning. When you open an image, you apply the appropriate Quick Set; everything else is automatic. If you need to make any adjustments outside of the Quick Set, you can do so in RIP-Queue or Job Editor. Otherwise, you can immediately print your image. If you develop your Quick Sets well, you can dramatically increase your productivity.
